My Prayer

Wrote this in 6th grade, found it again in 9th grade & revised it. Enjoy.

When I'm lost in the sea of life,
I seek Your loving face;
When I'm feeling pain and strife,
I feel Your warm embrace.

Only you can comfort me
When I'm down and sad
And only You let others see
Your light when they are mad.

Every night I kneel to pray
For everyone I know
That You show them with each passing day
They'll reap whatever they sow.

Please help me through each blessed day
To do what I know is right,
So that everyone around me
May see You in my life.
