A romantic, erotic, love poem. |
| We would not, cannot, separate Our bodies can hold out no longer Eyes staring vainly at fruit like succulent pears The air smoky with interminable lust Those who wish to be together are at last Holding to every breath and moment And realizing complete satisfaction We have fallen, succumbing to a fitful Night of joy and zenith Apparently no one can come between us At least for awhile… We are free to mount Towering summits taking thousands of years to erode. When we reappear to our friends and loved ones We will have tasted the very lasting fruit of our souls. Bless us, for these sweet and cherished moments together, For we will not hide from each other Not this hour, Not this night. |
