A love far away

I gaze up at the sky
My eyes wondering past the moon
I title my head on high
Hoping you'll be here soon

Are we we staring at the same stars?
Are we gazing upon the sky?
I know you are very far
I just can't help wondering why.

I turn away for tonight
As it grows late
Knowing I will return at twilight
Wondering if it is to late
