Pen To Paper

I believe the title sums it up well.

My mind circles, searching,
looking for ways to express
its uncanny artistic values
all while lost to a deeper
respect of life
I push, push myself forward
drawing ink from pen
intending to mesmerize the reader
with some self worth
allowing tasted samples
from already lived moments
of pride or suffering
which some may understand
by relation, and this
I do by creating
taking what I know
or what I think maybe
placing images or feelings
feelings or images
into the minds and hearts
of those who make it
to the end of my pages
refined, reformed and built
from the artistry circles
searched in my mind.
