9/11 remembered

A short poem about 9/11

They hit us hard that September day
and now we are over there to pay...
Is it right, I do not know,
so many innocents take the blow.
Their lives have changed
and so have ours.
Many servants come home no more.

May God get the ones that caused
so much heartache,
help turn their minds from fanaticism
to love for their fellow man.
