I love you

i'm kind of proud of this one it's one of my favorites

love is a word that is way too strong

to be used the way we used it wrong



the sentence i love you is what i thought i felt

the cupid card which seemed to have never been dealt



the predicament i'm in never seems anymore controllable

i'm vindicated and always seem abandoned



when i try to love you i always fail

you wrapped me in so fast that i couldn't set sail



in my mind which is thouroughly confused

saying that i can believe one of your sweet lies, i want so badly to think that you'd love me soon



now i know who you are but i love you still

i'm trembling all over as though i can't feel



i love you, how many times do i have to say those few simple words?

i want you to be sorry for in my heart you left burdens



i cry for you but that is never enough

maybe one day it just might be me that you love
