Crystal Chandelier
      Twinkling anticipation ride in the spaces between your fingers
A salted raindrop falls from the iris to rest upon the cotton threads
Quickly as it came to fall like a crystal chandelier
Shattering into a thousand tiny shards left to pinch at your skin
But listen to the canyons of a lover’s breath
To a whisper flowing on the ends of a rose
  Sweet smelling sounds wisp through your hair to fall like autumn leaves
The Voice of an angel caress in your ear
Ride on the storm beautiful soul, ride on
Through the fields of jagged thorns and rivers of smog
Journey to hope which lies at the end of the rainbow
        The future is a labyrinth bristling with wordless discord and broken promises
But have no fear for you are loved and never will you travel alone
The angels will guide you on fluorescent butterfly wings
    Our prayers will clothe you in the finest silks so you will look like a queen
When you arrive at the end of the perilous road
