This is about another horse died this year - 18 years old

Unicorn I missed you

On the day you left this world

The day the angels moved the clouds

With their lovely wings unfurled



All the time you gave us

Laughter, joy and pain

My heart just bursts to bits to know

It will never happen again



The spicy way you played with us

And yet careful with the kids

At times I think that it’s not real

But then realize it is



I feel that I betrayed you

And didn’t give you your due care

I know that Misfit warned me now

But I remained blindly unaware



I know that you are cared for now

With all who have gone before

But with that pleasure in my heart

I still can’t help but mourn some more
