Mmm, I think a comfortable sweater is the best thing in the world!

Winter sweaters
              Heat the soul
But scratches the paling skin.
I would like to be a sweater,
    Holding deep within my fabric
                                    Tender scents of falling snow
                        And perfume.
A kind secret in my pattern
                    That tells you
"Welcome.  I'll protect you."
Who would be cold enough to wear me?
Whose heart longs for memories
                                Of hot chocolate
        And warm fireplace romances?
One freshly knitted sweater,
Just for you.
                              I look better worn,
      Than heating your closet floor.
