Love is but a four letter word,
but let me tell you
what it means to me.
Making love on a
lazy sunday morning,
a touch of the hand,
a turn of the eyes,
a quick wink
in the mirror.
It is a walk
in the park,
Long talks after dark,
a caress on the back.
a feeling of  security,
knowing he is coming
home to me,
an expression of love in
his eyes,
a hug,
devotion,
dedication,
it is a smile,
forgiveness when there
should not be any,
a tear,
friendship,
companionship,
knowing how
to make him laugh,
being there
when he cries.
Being at home
whereever he is.
