love beyond reach

I like to gaze at the stars at night
their beauty burning ever bright
they pose to me a mystery, as do you

You shine a light for all to see
though I wish it were just for me
I'm inexplicably drawn to you
as to the stars than shine at night

you seem to be forever nigh
