Just a few thoughts...

Dead to the world
The darkness can suffocate
The room becomes smaller
Trapped inside my own thoughts
Continuously searching for a way out
There must be a door to walk through
I can only crawl with no sense of direction
A path leading nowhere is the road often traveled
Lesser known by many I struggle
The air is taken from me as I feel fate's grasp
I close my eyes and dismiss it as the norm
You hold the key to these chains
You know the way out
But you have forgotten where you left me
Alone
You are the world
