Whispering Words

I think this applies to a lot of writers.

Words Whisper
from pen to page
clear my mind
keep me sane for the day

Before there was
this calming release
I found no comfort
no happiness, no peace

Words that whispered
to me from my brain
collected like dust
or a flooding rain

From whispering words
to screams and shouts
I spent all my time
sorting it out

Words whisper
from heart to page
relieving the pain
but just for today
