Many lives lived before I arrived
All those memories forcibly deprived

A reset to the conscious mind
Soul and new body combined
Born with the intrinsic abilities
Found deep in the soul's faculties

Lessons relearned that were forgotten
But only after you feel trotten
Familiar souls you may meet
Seemingly like a first greet

Connections unexplainable are made
Despite all the memories that fade
Lives merged from all around
Yet the meaning may not be found

But maybe it is all just a hope
So that we may better cope
With a life that may have no meaning
To help avert that unhappy feeling

But the grand plan may prove me wrong
Maybe it will show me something I long

A familiar soul to recognize
Before we all reach our demise.
