Timeless

an attempt to answer a friends question: "what is time and how is it charaterized?"

Time forever laps into an ethereal void defined by uncertainty;

When movement comes to an abrupt halt,
the stream of tears between the breast of incubation
will settle in fermentation,
the fur of the earth no longer bends beneath our breath.
lovers will not see beauty, just age
which travelled too fast for notification...

the sun, seeming not wanting to return
from its watery state of stillness,
cascades darkness upon onlooker’s
questioning the nature of why?
Frozen with out an answer
The father of motion takes his final bow
As the universe expands, for one last time…
