Jesus Called me

Jesus Christ called for me to come to Him that night.

"Jesus Called Me"

I sat in my room crying in a state of fear.
Hiding in my self pitty wiping my tears.
The burdens of life were hard for me to bare.
No matter where I looked troubles were there.

The world it seemed was closing in on me.
I was surrounded by misery no out did I see.
Then one night as I laid in my bed in the dark.
from my attic I heard the cry of a Lark.

I thought my immagination was running wild.
Then I realized it was Jesus calling me.
His way of saying I am here my child.
When I received Jesus's call that night.

My burdens were lifted when the Lark cried.
God sent it down to be by me that night.
Cleansed of my sins I'm now a Christian.
Because I repented to God when I listened.
