Your patience is abyss

Began before I even exist

39 weeks of carrying my weight

Unfaltering Love through each day

Patiently you witnessed my first step

Patiently you taught me my first words

Guiding me through the trials of life

Giving me a lift through each fight

Patience is what you have shown

Patience is what I’ve learned

Your patience is a sign of enduring love

That is selfless, boundless, and timeless
