A prayer for Heather

As my girlfriend and I are seperated, I say a prayer for her each day.

There is nothing that we can not weather,
we have already been through so much together.
I wish there were words that could describe,
just how I feel when you are by my side..

I long to sleep with you through out the night,
wrapping you in my arms and holding you tight.
to wake up with you is what I miss,
a smile on your face a gentle kiss.

life has thrown some obstacles in our way,
but somehow we made it through another day.
you know there is nothing I would not do,
to try and make all your dreams come true.

every day we are apart I die just a little more,
but I do not know what our Lord has in store.
I would say a prayer for you each night,
hopeful God would make sure you were alright.

you know I will love you to the end of the earth,
and only I know what your love is worth.
no matter what happens I will be there,
showing you all my love and just how much I care.
