My Memory

I wrote this about my current boyfriend.

When you hold my hand,
I forget the world is even moving.
Having the feeling of your fingers between mine,
Is a moment that I never want to let go.
Just to have you at my side,
Even if it’s just going for a car ride.
Even the simplest things you do,
I began to melt from the moment that I very first met you.
From everything that you do,
I’m speechless explaining how I’m the girl who’s with you.
I could get lost in your eyes forever,
Save every text that you’ve sent me.
Just to look back one day,
And be able to re-live every moment I’ve spent with you.
You’re the memory I never want to forget,
Everyday I grow closer to you,
I couldn’t ever be able to let go.
It’s like I grew up knowing,
That one day I would get that chance to meet you.
And from then on,
It’s like I’m falling for you more each day that goes on.
