Fading,
Darkening
Everchanging,
Yet always look the same

Memories always weigh you down
and your the only one to blame

Deceiving,
Beating,
Never Ending,
They always eat away

My memories haunt me every day and its the price I pay
Letting go is so unnerving and tears my heart assunder

I wear them like a burial shroud
so do not stare in wonder
