I bought a postcard for myself today
I thought it would be nice to get something in the mail today
It might help me taking off my mind of my troubles today
Yes just for today i bought myself a postcard
It has a picture of 2 kids playing in the park
The joy on their faces remind me to go easy on myself today
It reminds me to keep on fighting with life
I stand alone with the post card in my hand
Thinking its blank unlike my life
Thinking i wont be alone for today
Thinking everything is jus going to b ok for today
Because i have my post to keep me alive for today
