Mapping our legacy.

CHARTING A LIFE

Our life is a journey;
we are its navigators,
plotting our positions
on the map of eternity. 
We choose our course
for the time we are
allowed breath on this earth,
no more and  no less. 

While we cannot control
where we start-we start
where our parents and God
plotted our beginning-
we are allowed to plot the point
where our children must begin. 
For that single moment,
we are allowed to play God.

From that time forward, we chart
along with our children 
until they make decisions
for themselves.
When they begin
plotting points of their own,
the map they create
becomes our only true legacy.
