Cancer

This poem is the first poem i have wrote, i started writing when my grandma got cancer

When you take life for granted
You see people dying, but think that it won't happen to you
So you just keep living life
Thinking you and the people around you are invincible

Then one day everything changes
You get the call
"I love you but I have cancer"
How do you feel?

Then the realization hits

No one is invicible, we are all just human
Your world comes crashing down
And you are left with an empty, a nothing feeling

Why did this happen to you?
