This is a continuance of part one, already submitted. Although I like part one better.
I let my heart fall
into your hands,
which I thought were stable.
You let it fall
and turn your back.
The shattered pieces scatter
across the floor in my lonely room.
Tears fall upon the pieces
and I try to pick them up,
but you kick them away.
I try to put it back together
and you smash the pieces.
I let the words pour out of my mouth,
And yet they go unnoticed.
I try to get in your line of sight
but you look away.
So many times
I seem like nothing to you.
But when I pick up
the shattered red glass
that was my heart,
you step on me
and the broken pieces all around.
