If Only

Different phases of life

When we were Kids
All we cared about were our friends n our toys
We had friends for no reasons
We had fights and we cried over them
We gave each other black eyes
and the next day we would laugh over it and be friends again



When we were adults
All we cared about were our careers and ourselves
We wanted to be friends with people for reasons
We fought over useless things and then never forgave each other
We gave each other heartaches and nothing else
We never forgave each other and became enemies for life


Now we are old
We realize how lonely in life we are
We have no friends at all
We cry over the heartaches we gave each other back then
But now its too late
Its time to die now n we have no one who is there fr us
We die with a heavy hearts and tears in our eyes
Thinking if only....
