Write On

In response to encouraging feedback on my first poem

Write On


I wrote a little poem the other day
With ink so bright and bold
I put it down on paper
Pouring out my heart and soul
 
Some one read my poem
And then wrote back to me
Words so sweet and dear
And they were so encouraging


I think it is important
To write just how we feel
We may never know if someone
Might read our words and heal

You can write about your birth
You can write about your life
You can write about your school years
You can even write about your wife

Or maybe you are the wife
With a few words of your own
Either way, I have but two
And those two words are 'write on'
