Friends

Nowadays, In this world of ours,

Friendship has lost it's meaning ---

                            ---- or so I thought!



But five very special people

came to teach me that

Friends meant more than just

The people you knew.



And as I write these words

                  --- I thank them.



John with his wisdom and knowledge

for in the time that I have known him,

He has taught me more about life ---

                            --- than life itself!



Cookie for her caring and compassion

She could sit and listen ---

                      --- and understand.



Brian - stood by me in good times ---

                                          --- and bad.

for being my conscience.

helping me stick to the right (left?) path.



Travis for being there when I

Needed help as I would do the same

That's what friends are for.



Fiona, her innocence and youthful

outlook on life kept me out of ---

                                  --- the Darkness



It's these five people who

have shown me the good and bad

in everyone --- especially myself.



It's these five musketeers that,

one day, I may call my family.

For now it's just enough to call them ---

                                    --- my friends
