Prayer of Adoration

Blessed art Thou, O LORD,
Whose voice is heard as thunder,
Who thrusts His powerful sword,
To show the lightning wonder.

Who originated life upon Earth,
Nurturing His beloved creatures,
As if He Himself has given them birth,
Bestowing upon them divine features.

Whose presence is known, yet remains obscured,
Whose communication with us is by visions,
Yes, our faith in Him is by that assured,
As we follow His decisions.

Who is sensitive enough to notice treason,
Who feels abandoned straight away,
And suddenly without a satisfying reason,
Can flood the world today.
