This Poem is about gross waste and a throw away lifestyle of neglagent proportions. |
| Opulence…it is all around me. So much given up to waste, the piles I heave into oblivion Take it away and never shall I lay eye or hand upon it, never will I have use for it. We lay to waste so many things… so obsolete and out of date. Our needs so great? Our wants so far away and out of reach? Perhaps our needs our wants have all been swallowed by our own opulent lust, disintegrated by our deeds, left upon a heap of rotting greed. Obsolescent old and useless, toss it away for we need not today and tomorrow is so far away. |
