A Poem about the death and resurection of Christ. |
At The Cross My Lord was crucified for me, At the cross on Calvery, At the time I knew not why, Christ hath come, but just to die. Three days later He arose, For death, it could not win. He went to God to plea for us, And forgive us of our sins. My Lord hath loved us oh so much, He sent His only Son. For if in Christ we believe, Then over death, we've won. Though our physical bodies will die one day, And be burried in the ground. Our spiritual bodies will be whisked away, To heaven, where love abounds. My Lord was crucified for me, At the cross on Calvery. Now I know the reason why Christ hath come, but just to die. |
