For Mom's Everywhere

You held me in your arms
When life for me was new
You whispered your love for me
When life dealt me some blows
You held me when I cried
When life let me fall
You told me I could be anything
When life let me grow
You watched over me
When life was giving me choices
You gave me strength
When life made me feel weak
You were my light
When life became dark
You taught me how to love others
When life tried to test me
You were there when I went away
When life had chosen my path
You watched me become the person that I am
When life had finally let me be me
You are and always will be my Mother
Forever there to guide me and love me
An inspiration for years to come
I shall take with me all that you have taught
And pass it on to my children too
God bless all the Mothers in the world
For without them who knows where we would be today
