A simple poem of what may have slipped away in time or loss |
| I will watch it fall, Into that consuming dark, I will feel it slip As its left its mark. It wont be slow Like movie scenes, But all to soon It will have gone, hardly been. So strong once, So bold, But as does all, Too soon grew it old. Decisions figured thier own way, No second chance was given here, Just this black abyss And whats lost with its lasting sear Upon whats left And speaks with none Of light and youth A sun hidden run. Here in this hand sits something Now, An emptiness Once discovered, once found. Let light leave, Let soul dissapear, And in the darkness Hope for reappear, And when hope does die, As did this love, I shall sit between This low and high above, And peer to where Icannot see In prayer that what has been lost May find me. |
