The struggle of trying to get a person you like to care....

What am I?
Do you see me?
Or am i just a figment?
I've tried hard,to fit in,
To make you want me.
Nothing works.
What's wrong with me?
Am I really that embarrassing?
I have feelings,and your hurting them.
I am growing impatient,
My candle is burning out.
I need you to see me,
To notice me,
To take my hand,
And bring me back into the light.
Give a new candle,
One with a different scent,
A candle more bright.
I need you to tell me,
It'll be alright.
