This is my life.

Perhaps not what you'd expect
When you're so far away and living
The same life.
Perhaps not what I expected
When I moved far away and found
The same life.

Safe and mundane.

I realised life is always
The same.
The situation may change,
But life is,
At the end of the day,
Just life.

For real change,
You must change.
Your mind must change -
Your outlook;
Your philosophy.

But you've always known that,
Haven't you?
Well, not always,
But you knew it
Long before me.
