a man i knew once

I knew this man,
i once was his biggest fan,
he really liked me,
why didn't I see?
but that just shows,
how it goes,
when you let love pass you by,
than you sometimes wonder why,
the words you wanted to express,
thinking this could be a test?
But its not it could be love,
like a turtle dove.
I hope someday he will come back to me,
all he has to do is see,
what he means to my heart,
and we will never be apart.
