Loving me isn't easy I know
My gratitude I seldom show
I'm self centered with a great ego
How you've put up with me, I'll never know
In so many ways you've helped me grow
If I lose you where in hell would I go
I'm ashamed I have mistreated you so
Right now I feel so low
I've treated you less like a lover but more as a foe
Your mental state I've given a blow
For those actions, I now say whoa
Going forward love is all that I'll bestow
