As the last breath of life is drawn through my lungs
I hear your seductive voice
Inviting me into your sensuous touch
Tickling my ear as you whisper of our time long past

When my heart stops to beat
I know that I need to be with you
Like the rain needs to make love to the earth
I know how much I love you

My eyes close, seeking eternal peace
I feel you cradled in my arms
Like a precious crystal
We are intertwined as one

Finally, when my soul drifts
Like a cloud at the mercy of the winds
Towards that final resting place
It goes hand and hand with yours
Our time is not gone, it has just begun.
