I wrote these lyrics about 5 years ago, my boys were little, and life overwhelmed me.

What is it i'm missing,
Why is it i'm lost
where is it that I begin
and tell me, at what cost.

I know that I am searching
don't know what I hope to find,
yet all this time i'm looking
I'm going out of my mind.

I can't see through the clouds,
I cant see through the rain,
that's pouring down
relentless
the river has swept me away.

Going through the motions,
engines forever turning
the coal is slowely burning,
but i'm all out of steam.
