Shattered Dreams

She only sees green eyes
Covered in so many lies
Her heart he has broken
Underneath the bruises

She always waits up at night
Knowing it's not right
He comes home late
And the pain starts to propel

She is torn apart
He hopes she rots
There's no love here
Only fear is here.

He promised her the everything
He promised her the world
He promised her a happy life....
All she has is shattered dreams.
