Seeing At Last

Dawning of Clarity

The sun rises in my perception,
Flooding it with the brilliant light
of Understanding and Truth.

It has taken so many ages
For the darkness to be transformed
by Innocence and Youth.

Lost in the crush of expectations
That have no right nor reason to exist,
creating Illusions

Of unfairness and bitter resentment
At Life's cruel ignorance of our desires,
without offering Solutions

To our shattered hopes and dreams
Built by the Self's arrogance.
Life stands by

Doing nothing to encourage these longings,
And nothing to prevent their appearance,
While emotions die.

But Dawn has broken, and there can now only be
Clarity of spirit and heart forever.
Eternally.
