A letter to my Amelia

A letter to pass on to every mother that you know

Do you know that when I speak of you I cannot keep the smile off my face? Do you know that when I think of you I cry... tears of joy not sorrow?

I tell people You were the best decision that I never made. Having you was never a decsion for me. I always wanted you.

I always wanted you. Even in my dreams as a child, long before you were in my body you were in my dreams.

I know someday you will break my heart, just as I have done to my mother, and her to hers. I hope and pray with all my heart that I never break yours.

I want to say in advance that whatever you do, no matter what it is, I hope it makes YOU happy.

I also want to aplogizefor all the mistakes that I have already made and all the mistakes I will undoubtly make in loving you.

Please know that I am trying my hardest to be the best mother that I can be. Please remember that like you I am also growing and learning everyday.
