I see through clouded eyes,
At a painfully blind world.
The cold mockery of those around me,
Leaves me gasping at the reality.
Never look back.
Never look away.

The waterfall rages towards oblivion.
Its torrent blissfully sharp. Wielding
Blades of icy fire, leaving
Nothing but numbness behind.
Never look back.
Never look away.

The song of Sorrows, so
painfully sung. The maiden
burns with deepest, darkest regret,
At the world gone black and blue.
Never look back.
Never look away.

The truth may scream
And gouge at your eyes.
It's frenzy snapping at
Your heels. But
Never look back.
Never look away.

Silence may reign, brooding
Within your heart.
Yearning for the trickle of blood.
Helpless at yourself.
Never look back.
Never look away.

These lamps are dim now.
Sense and reality no longer
Paves the way. Giving in to
the Nightmares.
However,
If you look back,
If you look away,
Then those that lurk in the Shadows,
Might just catch you.
