This is a poem I wrote for school |
| Fire: The warm glow Bathes my entire being With light It's too bright to see Too hot to touch Too loud to hear As simple as Finely woven satin It ravishes everything Yet people cherish Its honest beauty As old as time itself With a flame that burns longer Than the truest heart With a flame that burns brighter Than the stars Yet stays elusive Once Ignited Nothing ever truly dies It lives on the flames Of glory and splendor |
