Blood rushes through me

An expression of my emotions.

Good writing should flow like water
Inspiring because it’s inspired
That’s not me
I can’t hold a thought in my head that I don’t hate
I wish I could create
But it’s hard to get through to somebody else when you don’t even believe in yourself

We have the same sources of confidence and insecurity
We differ in our expression of it
You want the world to notice you
And I want you to notice me
I know we stopped making sense a long time ago
I’d rather make no sense with you than be sensible on my own

I like plans and lists and being on time,
I like rhythm and pace and the occasional rhyme,
While you’re off living life haphazardly
I don’t know when or where or what about me
