Creating moments
That you never cared for
Hidden feelings,
That only I searched for

Why did I let you in?
When I was better off alone
Why did I open myself to you?
If you’ve never looked at me that way before

Breaking chains
I always tried to keep together
Blocking you out
So your words stop hurting like they did

And I don’t know why
My heart slowly dies
And makes me lose myself completely

So please let me go
I’ll try to live without you
And get far away from here
So my mind is finally clear
