The American Western Iconoclast
From Texas to Dakota's Hills
In Summer's heat and Winter's chills
He rides the range's countryside
Ready six-gun by his side

Drives the herd
Guards the cattle
From rustlin' thieves
And snakes that rattle

Stetson hat upon his head
'Neath the stars he makes his bed
