This is a poem about the changes in nature as Spring arrives.
Spring, as welcome as a knight in shining armor,
Has returned bringing hope to a winter-weary land.
Blossoms push their way through the soil,
Like fish swimming to the water's surface.
The grass, tinged with green, stands straighter, taller.
Even the trees seem to stretch towards the sun,
Begging for their share of light and warmth.
Old Man Winter blows his final icy breath,
As the beauty of nature unfolds.
