A seaman by the sea

A lone seaman by the sea.

A seaman of the sea
O'er the beach stands he
Amongst the rocks and sand
He stares into the distance
Does he search for something?
Or something searches for him?
A lone Seaman by the sea
So calmly and duly stands he
Still and cold and all alone
Watching the waves come and go
Standing silently on the shore
He doesn’t move, the wanderer of the sea
Except for his eyes which wild and free
Roam and search and beg for release.
