sombre melancholy smothered in sanguine glee
No lustre for love nor covetous petition
alas feverish fervour courting liberty,

No escape from affliction,
wounded soul seeking consecration
Every desperate breath drawn
in ambivalent anticipation,

By light of day unforeseen,
unbroken spirit births a virgin symphony
Further still unreachable imagery,
Only by virtue’s divine intervention,
comforted spirit finds unconflicted reprieve,
eternal emancipation
