Invisible

I wrote this a while back, but never really did anything with it.

Have I become invisible?
I have dropped off the face of the earth
And no one wonders where I am...

I speak and no one hears
I bleed and no one sees

I know I am not invisible.
Because people keep asking for more
And I am giving out of my emptiness..

I scream and no one hears
I cry and no one sees

How does invisible feel?
It hurts, it is cold, it is angry, it is sad
But the world keeps moving while I am still...

I ask and no one answers
I plead and no one sees

God, hide me in You.
Fill my emptiness and give life to my death
And keep me from despairing that I am invisible...

And unnecessary....
And unwanted...
And unneeded...
